Only five more days to go and then that’s it. I really need this break, believe you me. John has put so many Christmas lights on the house, people are driving past with their kids just to come and have a look. Well, it won’t be the same without the Queen, will it? Mind you, we never used to watch her anyway. We usually just clear up after and have a game of cards sat round the table. John’s usually asleep in his chair by then BUT THAT’S FINE.
